Book Reccomendation

I recently read the book In the Grip of Grace by Max Lucado. I found this book very insightful writing on the concept of grace focus on the book of Romans.

One of the most interesting points was that serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer reportedly accepted Christ before he died in prison. The author talked about how this made him angry. I felt the same way, but the point was that no one was beyond grace.

The other thing I liked was that it discussed the idea of saying, I am better than this person, so I can do something wrong. This notion is busted pretty thoroughly, and I have always hated people that use that excuse.

Financial Peace University

Tomorrow night I begin teaching Financial Peace University at my church, Evergreen Christian Community. I am very passionate about the material, and I know it will help many people in our community.

Dave Ramsey's program has made a big impact on the my life and for some of my friends and family. I can't wait.
