Quantum of Solace

The James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, is the second outing for Daniel Craig as agent 007. I enjoyed the movie, and I think it was a better than average Bond movie. I want to focus on some of the changes with the new Bond

The Gun Barrel: They put this at the end of the film, and I wish they didn't. This sequence takes about 5 seconds, and I feel this is the distinct part of the bond films.

Fight Sequences: This is a good change for the films, and I think this is a response to the Bourne movies. When Bond is fighting someone, it is not a simple punch or two to knockout the bad guy. When he fights, he gets hit, cut, and bruised.

Personality: It seems Craig plays a brooding spy with some emotions. I like how each actor brings different traits. They also seem to have less of the imnuendos, but he still seems to have plenty of good one liners.

Financial Peace class

I have been teaching Financial Peace at my church this fall, and we are just about done. My brother got married in Tennessee this weekend, and my brother's friend took me to Financial Peace plaza, where Dave Ramsey's studio is located.
